Case K. Full Mouth rehabilitation with implants.

K1 shows an x-ray with advanced dental problems. Most of the lower teeth are missing and the remaining teeth are in poor condition. K2 shows the new lower teeth which are a full arch of porcelain crowns supported by implants. K3 shows the after x-ray showing the full arch lower bridge as of lower implants. It also shows the upper back teeth replaced with implants.

L1 shows the usual appearance of a tooth with the grooves which may sometimes have discolouration or stains. L2, shows the same tooth which has had some preparation with air abrasion. Air Abrasion is a micro sandblasting technique. This treatment step has showed up some brown staining which is tooth decay. A pink bacterial stain has been used which will stain areas where bacteria have infiltrated into the tooth. L3 shows where we have proceeded to remove this staining to prepare the tooth for a filling and then L4 is a completed resin filling.

Case N. Denture Stabilisation with Implants.

N1 shows the underside of a denture and the plaster model that the denture model fits onto. The gold caps are gold abutments which will be used to anchor the denture in place. Chewing function and speech is enhanced as there is no movement of the denture during function.

Case P. Gum lift and Bonding.

Between P1 and P2 the patient had a minor soft tissue procedure which lifted part of the gum to a more aesthetic alignment in symmetry with the other side. P3 shows a new bonded restoration. This is much like a porcelain veneer, although it is a composite material which will dull and discolour in time. This can also be done in porcelain for permant colour stability.
