Orthodontics is the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of problems in the alignment of teeth and jaws, and involves the use of corrective appliances such as braces and removable orthodontic appliances to bring the bone structure and teeth into proper alignment. Using an Orthopaedic Orthodontic philosophy, we focus on the functional influence of the growth and development of the face.
Early Diagnosis
As a protagonist of functional orthodontic therapy (Orthopaedic) Lentini Dental's focus is on early orthodontic treatment. Because an early diagnosis can produce the best possible results, children around the age of 8 years of age are recommended to consult with Dr Lentini if orthodontic concerns arise.
Importantly, orthodontic treatment leads not only to a beautiful smile, but to the overall health and function of the teeth and jaw. Where required, ceramic braces (clear braces) are also available.
