Between the first and second picture the patient had a minor soft tissue procedure which lifted part of the gum to a more aesthetic alignment in symmetry with the other side. Then we show a new bonded restoration. This is much like a porcelain veneer, although it is a composite material which will dull and discolour in time. This can also be done in porcelain for permant colour stability.
